Including the above mention auspicious date, the two more Snan dates in Haridwar Kumbha for the pilgrims are

21 April Ram Navmi

During Kumbha Mela millions of pilgrims, devotees, and tourists from all around the world congregate in Haridwar to perform ritualistic bathing on the banks of the river Ganges to wash away their sins to attain Moksha. According to the Samudra Manthan, Haridwar along with Ujjain, Nashik and Allahabad is one of four sites where drops of Amrit (the elixir of immortality) accidentally spilled over from the pitcher. Brahma Kund at Har Ki Pauri (literally, "footsteps of the Lord") is the spot where the Amrit fell down is considered to be the most sacred Ghat of Haridwar. It is one of the oldest beliefs that if anyone taking a dip in the holy river of Ganga in Haridwar can achieve salvation
