Gir National Park 

Also known as Sasan-Gir is the sole home of the Asiatic Lions. The National Park is located 43 km in the north-east from Somnath and 65 km to the south-east of Junagarh in Gujarat. The forest area of Gir and its lions were declared as "protected" in the early 1900s by the Nawab of the princely state of Junagadh. The park comprises 1412 sq. km of deciduous forest interspersed with semi-evergreen and evergreen flora, acacia, scrub jungle, grasslands and rocky hills. The park includes a variety of raptors and many other significant species, including Lesser Florican, Osprey, Indian Pitta, Red-headed Vulture, etc.

Jim Corbett National Park 

Situated in the Nanital district of Uttarakhand Jim Corbett National Park is an ecotourism destination contains 488 different species of plants and a diverse variety of fauna. Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, the park is India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. The Park is one of India's most beautiful wildlife areas has a tiger population of around 160, which makes this park as the last and the most important bastion of this endangered species in India. The whole area of the park is comprising of hills, marshy depressions, riverine belts, grasslands and large lake. Tourism activity is only allowed in selected areas of Corbett Tiger Reserve so that people get an opportunity to see its splendid landscape and the diverse wildlife.

Ranthambore National Park 

Ranthambore is the best places in India to see tiger in their natural Jungle habitat. The park is situated on the junction of Aravali and Vindhyas just 14 Kms from Sawai Madhopur in Eastern Rajasthan. The Park is being considered as one of the famous and former hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur. Tigers can be easily spotted even in the daytime. The Park is also covered by dry deciduous type of vegetation and has about 300 species of trees and plants, with the Dhok dominating the vegetation. 

Sundarban National Park

Located at the South Eastern tip of the 24 Paraganas district in the state of West Bengal Sundarban National Park is the largest mangrove forest in the world are home of the Royal Bengal Tigers. Made up of 54 small islands and is crisscrossed by several tributaries of the Ganges the national park is a dazzling panorama of wildlife in a spectacular natural setting. The mangrove forests are the only tiger habitat of its kind and estimated 400 tigers are found here. The only means of travelling the park is Local boats or vessels.

Bandhavgarh National Park 

Located 165 km. north-east of Jabalpur in Umaria district of central Indian state Madhya Pradesh Bandhavgarh National Park is one of the popular national parks in India. The centre of the park is dominated by the majestic Bandhavgarh Fort, around which is numerous caves containing shrines and ancient Sanskrit inscriptions. The density of the tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India. Bandhavgarh considered as the real home of white tigers but the park provides shelter to several Indian wildlife species like Bison, Cheetals, Langgors and Sambars.

Kanha National Park

Bandipur National Park

Rajaji National Park

Rajagopalachari, a prominent leader and last Governor-General of independent India. The park is home to Asiatic Elephants, Tigers, Panthers and good prey base including Spotted Deer, Sambhar, Wild Boar, Barking deer, Goral Two kinds of Bears Himalayan Black and Sloth, and over 400 bird species makes Rajaji National Park a perfect wild life and bird watching destination. Hemis National Park 

Lies on the west bank of river Indus in the northernmost district of Ladakh Hemis National Park is a high-altitude national park. The park is home to rare species like the bharal and the snow leopard. The park is bounded on the north by the banks of the Indus River, includes the catchments of Markha, Sumdha, Rumbak and parts of the Zanskar Range. The park boasts of 200 leopards and is the only habitat of Shapu or the Ladakhi Urial in India. Apart from the wildlife the park houses numerous Tibetan gompas and holy chortens within its boundaries. The 400-year-old Hemis Monastery is also located within the park.

Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) 

situated at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000m the Park has a diversity of zones with their representative flora and fauna, such as alpine, glacial, temperate, and sub-tropical forests. The Great Himalayan National Park is a habitat to numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species that comprises approximately 31 mammals, 181 birds, 3 reptiles, 9 amphibians, 11 annelids, 17 mollusks and 127 insects. Added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in June 2014, the Site Committee granted the status to the park under the criteria of "exceptional natural beauty and conservation of biological diversity".
